The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 80 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Zion's Ladies Aid are very active within Zion Lutheran Church.
Among other things...
- They organize the flower sale for our Easter Memorial garden.
- They organize the lunch and bake sale for our annual Spring Auction and Fundraiser.
- They encourage the women of the congregation to get involved in serving the Lord by helping out in the church.
- They serve in Altar Guild.
- They organize a Fall Vendor/Craft Sale.
- Throughout the year they are working on craft and quilting projects.
- They organize the annual ladies Christmas Tea.
- They support Seminarians.
- They participate in the Baby Bottle campaign to support Pro-life groups.
They meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00pm. All of the ladies of Zion are welcome to join the group.
